Christopher Poole’s Vampire Counts
Now that the new releases have been flying out of Hobby Centres, we've got even more Vampire Counts hobby, much of which is too good not to show off on What's New Today. This time, the Vampire Counts models have been painted by Christopher Poole.
It was initially his Vargheists that caught our eye, which were very striking. The bases were particularly evocative; with those rocky effects, and contrast between skin and wings, you can really imagine these critters coming at you out of some desolate part of the Warhammer world. (That would probably be the last thing you see...)
Christopher has been busy painting up a Mortis Engine, too - the overall scheme wasn't too dissimilar to James', which we showed earlier, but Christopher has continued the rocky base idea, and has also added plenty of rust to his models - tends to happen when you're Undead.
Don't forget to keep sending us in your miniatures or upload them into the Flickr pool. With this new blog format, we'll be showing off even more hobby, so get painting!
