The streets are packed with frantic shoppers, the decorations are up and the radio is blaring out festive songs by heavily side-burned glam rockers. Tis the season to be jolly, so put on your Santa hat and hang up your mistletoe, for Christmas is almost here!
To help you out in the festive season there are a couple of new features on the website. The first is the Gift Guide, which includes a selection of miniatures for each game system, plus some of our Christmas best-sellers such as the Fortress of Redemption, Army bundles, the Ultimate Paint Set and the Realm of Battle Gameboard. This a great place to start if you know what the hobbyist in your life collects, but they haven't told you exactly what they're after.
I've already written my gift list this year and left print-outs in convenient places for people to find - there's one taped to my computer monitor at home, a second one in the mail to my parents and a third pinned to the White Dwarf noticeboard over a picture of Jervis. Someone should notice at least one of them... (though maybe I should email everyone with my list too, just in case).
If you haven't written your gift list already then make sure you do soon, otherwise how will people know what models you want to add to your collection? You'll just get socks and jumpers with reindeer on them, and you'll only have yourself to blame. Follow this link to find out how to get started.
To help you get in the festive mood, here are a couple of winter-themed miniatures that we've had sent in to White Dwarf Daily recently - an Ork Warboss by Mark Werklund and an Ogre Kingdoms Stonehorn by Łukasz Mazur.
