Hunter Orcs and Fell Wargs
The Hunter Orcs on Fell Wargs are intense, dynamic miniatures. Every aspect of them oozes feral aggression, from their brutish faces to the wickedly curved blades that they wield with expert skill. Unlike the Goblins of Goblin Town, the Hunter Orcs wear crude armour made from dark metal plates and hardened leather. Across their backs three of them carry quivers of barbed arrows, which they fire from short, powerful bows. Paired with these brutal warriors are their mounts, the fearsome Fell Wargs. With long claws and fang-lined maws they are as ferocious as their riders and considerably stronger. Each of the six models comes with a selection of optional components, including a choice of heads for both the riders and the Fell Wargs, making them very customisable.
The Hunter Orcs on foot are just as dynamic, featuring a range of excellent mid-battle poses that make them look like they're right in the thick of the action. Many of them are leaping forward eager to get to grips with their quarries, while others take aim with their gnarled wooden bows. Their captains are even more intimidating. Narzug carries a curious weapon that's part bow and part sword - a weapon that he wields equally well whether shooting it or using it in combat. Fimbul rides to war on a Fell Warg as dark as the night, his tattered robes billowing in the wind as he charges into battle. His face is contorted in a bestial roar that's made all the more sinister by his attire, which appears to be made from the bones of some unlucky creature. Thorin and his Company will do well to avoid these evil creatures.
