Feel the Pain!

From Dan Harden at 16:07 BST

Whilst looking through our inbox earlier, I also found these rather beautiful Dark Eldar painted by Mathias Tegtmeyer. His main goal when painting the miniatures was to achieve a nice contrast between the blue armour and the flesh areas - something we think he has achieved really well. The armour was painted using a basecoat of Caledor Sky, followed by a wash of Nuln Oil to provide the shading. Mathias then re-applied Caledor Sky, being careful to leave the Nuln Oil in the recesses. A highlight of Lothern Blue was used to highlight the edges of the armour followed by a very tiny dot of White Scar where the light would catch the armour most.

If you've got some models that you think are worthy of going on the What's New Today page then make sure you send us some pictures of them. We like to share the pictures that you send in to us, so if you want to see your favourite army on the blog then you guys are the ones that need to send us the pictures. We have only two requirements: that the models are nicely painted and that the pictures are of a good enough quality to show them off. And make sure you tell us how you painted the models when you email us. OK, so that's three requirements, but it's still not many to remember. So, what are you waiting for - grab your models, set up your camera and start taking pictures.
