We’re all Tangled up!
While we understand that this may not be the biggest release of the year, this afternoon we were very excited to put up Tanglewire on the website. It is now available to order right here, right now.
The great thing is, there are many different uses for Tanglewire, making it a very versatile little product.
Why not use it on the bases of your models to make it look as though they're walking across a war-torn battlefield. Simply glue it down with a dab of Super Glue and paint it along with the rest of the models.
Alternatively (or additionally) why not add it to the tops of buildings and barricades to give your scenery a more dangerous feel. Don't worry though, unlike real barbed wire our stuff isn't sharp, so you're not going to hurt yourself on it.
Tanglewire also has its own rules in the new Warhammer 40,000 book. It's rules can be found on page 105. As you can probably guess, it impedes enemy movement, which can be very useful if you're trying to defend a position.
The Tanglewire comes in two rolls both 6" in length. However, it is very flexible and can be stretched to many times it's actual length (for extra tangle-age). We were planning to unravel it all, but then we realised we would have to re-tangle it and thought better of it... (don't try it at home, kids).
Don't forget that there are already plenty of other basing kits and terrain sets available for Warhammer 40,000, many of which can be found in the gallery below. Simply scroll through the pictures to see what we've got available.
