War on a massive scale
It's not often that you get to see a battle this big, is it? Well over today and tomorrow we've got not one, but two huge games to show off that both took place in Warhammer World recently. This was the first of the two battles which featured Darrell Henson's Renegade Guardsmen taking on Philip Cocking's Dark Eldar. As you can see from the pictures there are plenty of aircraft zipping about on the battlefield, all of which will soon benefit from the flyer rules in the new Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.
Something to note about Philip's army is that nearly every unit is painted a different colour to represent the different kabals that make up his force. With such a large collection of miniatures Philip found it a great way to keep his painting fresh and exciting. You can see a few more shots of the battle in the gallery below. Make sure you check back tomorrow to see the second mega battle and later today to find out about psychic powers in Warhammer 40,000.
