It’s party time!

From Dan Harden at 10:06 BST

There's only four days to go now until the release of Warhammer 40,000 and we're all very excited about it. If you've already ordered your copy of the new rulebook then you can sit back and relax, happy in the knowledge that your order will soon be picked and ready to send out, either directly to your house or for you to pick up from your local Games Workshop Hobby Centre. For those of you that haven't ordered your copy then you can still do so right here.

Here you can see Phil, one of the Studio team, modelling the Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting beanie hat. Phil is well known at our head office for wearing a beanie at all times. He arrives wearing it, he works in it, and he leaves wearing it, so he was the perfect candidate to model one for the blog. Phil thought it was very warm and comfortable - perfect for those cold winter warzones. Our resident Servo-skull also tried it on, but sadly it was a little too big for his, er.... skull.

Phil was also very keen to model the lanyards for us. Normally I would wear a lanyard around my neck, but according to Phil the best way to wear it is to have it hanging from the pocket of your shorts. Again, Smiler the Servo-skull was left disappointed as not only does he not have a neck around which to wear the lanyard, but he also has no pockets (not to mention that he has no wallet, no phone and no name badge to attach to his lanyard in the first place).

The belt is a gorgeous piece of engineering. Made from heavy-duty canvas and with a metal buckle, it's perfect for holding up a pair of trousers or as a shiny fashion accessory. The buckle itself has the Imperial Guard symbol (a winged skull) embossed in the centre and features a quick release mechanism in case of emergencies...

As mentioned above, these products will only be available from a Games Workshop Hobby Centre on the 30th June and we expect them to run out of stock on the same day. Once they're gone they are very definitely gone!
