Space Marines attack!

And, of course, how could we have a blog post without some lovely pictures of miniatures? First up is a beautiful squad of Iron Hands painted by Jay Adan. Check out the subtle conversions in the squad - the Space Marine with the flamer checking out his auspex and the converted banner on the Squad Sergeant. We also had this gorgeous Ultramarine Thunderfire Cannon sent in to us by Robin999999 who, judging by his internet moniker, is experiencing a double emergency. That may be a very UK-centric joke that one. A joke that will get less funny the more I explain it...

Space Marine Librarians are powerful psykers and no more so than Chief Librarian Tigurius. Essentially, if he's not busy blasting your foes apart, protecting your own units, teleporting across the battlefield, or boosting his combat prowess, then you're not using him right! This version was painted by Gerald Putra, while the Terminator Librarian in the picture next to him was painted by Oliver Ketley.

To round off the power armoured goodness for the week, here's a trio of Chaplains that we found in our Flickr pool. The Terminator Chaplain was painted by Broken Jaw (a cruel and unusual name, but amusing none-the-less), who painted it for their Chapter, the Omega Warriors. The Chaplain with the leering skull mask was painted by the equally unusually named Fentoozler, while the Chaplain propelled into battle by jump pack was painted by Stobz.
