New Necrons available to Advance Order now.

From Dan Harden at 00:04 BST

The Tomb Blades are the Fast Attack element of the Necron race - something that your opponent's probably won't expect at all. Most players see the Necrons as a slow and implacable race, so to have fast-moving jetbikes zipping around their army will be very unexpected indeed. Because of the way the kits are designed, you can build your Tomb Blades in several different ways - as short and menacing, or sleek and blade-like. It doesn't make a different to their rules, but it does give you the option to customise them as you like. As we all know, variety is the spice of life.

There are plenty more new kits available, including models for the named characters Nemesor Zahndrekh, Vargard Obyron and Illuminator Szeras (complete with severed Eldar head) and resin upgrade packs for the Destroyer Lord and the Heavy Destroyer. To advance order your Necrons, simply click on the links above. If you order them by Sunday April 29th and choose to have them sent to your local Games Workshop Hobby Centre, then they will be there waiting for you on the release day (Saturday 5th). Choose to have them sent to another address (within this dimension only - not even Royal Mail are that good) and you will receive them the week commencing the 7th May.

Actually, talking about White Dwarf, don't forget that the latest issue is also out tomorrow. As always, there's a whole host of superb articles in it including: a Necrons tactics guide by Mat Ward; a follow-up to the Nihilakh Dynasty Necron painting guide by Chris Peach; 13 pages of painting guides using the new Citadel Paint range; loads of new rules for Storm of Magic (including new Cataclysm Spells, Battle Prayers and a new Scenario); the epic conclusion to the Tale of Four Gamers series; and plenty more besides. Phew! To see more, have a click through the pictures above for a sneak peek of next month's issue. Remember, you can always set up a subscription for White Dwarf, too. Not only will you get every issue delivered to your doorstep, but you also get to save a bit of cash in the process. Can't complain about that!
