Welcome to Nordland

Yesterday we showed off DariusZero's Grand Master of the Knights of the Blazing Sun. Well today we took a peek at the Flickr pool again and noticed that Darius had uploaded a few more pictures, including this colourful regiment of Empire Swordsmen. Interestingly, Darius has used a wide range of pieces on his unit, giving it a really unique personality. As you look at the unit, the chap on the left with the banner is made up of a combination of parts, including an old Reiksguard Knight on foot and the banner from the Greatswords kit. Next to him stands the unit champion, who is a standard state trooper, but with a grizzled Greatsword's head. The Captain in the middle of the unit is also a combination of parts, including the head from a Pistolier, the arm from the Knightly Orders kit (the one holding the helmet), and the body of a Greatsword. Essentially the unit is a combination of several plastic Empire kits, combined with a few older models of days gone by - a fantastic way to add even more character to a regiment.
