Grand Prize Winners, Space Wolves
Earlier in the month we announced the winners of the Hobby Centre prizes in our August competition. Today I'm pleased to be able to announce the lucky winners of the three Grand Prizes:
-
3rd Prize - 5,000 point army: In 3rd place is Connor M from Florida in the US who is a nine-year veteran Warhammer 40,000 player. Connor is currently planning hit 5000-point Tau army.
-
2nd Prize - every Games Workshop release for a year: In 2nd place is Henri G from St Etienne in France. Henri has already been into the St Etienne Hobby Centre for a big celebration and his first month of prizes.
-
1st Prize - a trip to Games Workshop HQ: The winner is Mathieu S from Mallemort, France. Mathieu and a member of his family will be flying over to Nottingham to visit the Games Workshop HQ, Warhammer World, the Studio and much more.
-
His local store is in Aix en Provence and he and his family have already been in to celebrate and receive his first place certificate. We are looking forward to giving him a warm welcome here in Games Workshop HQ.
Hopefully we can show you some more from the prize winners over the coming weeks, I for one want to see that 5000-point army list that Connor draws up.
I have also been receiving pictures from Hobby Centres around the world of winners coming in to choose their Battalion or Battleforce prizes. If you are a winner and still haven't collected your prize then there is still time for you to get down to your local store and pick it up. Here are some more pictures of the lucky winners:
-
Paul M from the Belfast Store in Northern Ireland picking up his Empire Battalion
-
Kenneth B picking up his Chaos Space Marine Battleforce from the Govenors Square Store in the US.
-
Joan P from Spain picking up a copy of the Space Marines Battleforce in our Hospitalet Store
-
Borja P from the Bilbao store in Spain picking up a Tau Battleforce
Now I couldn't go a whole day without bringing you some pictures of great miniatures so here are just a couple more Space Wolves models from around the building.
-
Dan Attrill from Games Workshop Australia put together his Long Fangs leader by mixing bits from the new Space Wolves plastic sets, the Space Marine Devastators squad and the previous Space Wolves frame.
-
Quite a few of you have been asking to see more of Phil Kelly's army close up, so here are two more of his characters that he put together using the Wolf Guard Terminators boxed set.
