Painting Masterclasses
There are three more articles available for you to download from the White Dwarf Archive today - Warhammer: Painting the High Elf Dragon; Warhammer 40,000: Baneblade Painting Guide; and Painting Masters: Mark Lifton, which showcase the work of this Golden Daemon winning painter.
You might remember Jamie Forster's Warhammer character models from a couple of weeks ago. Well, it turns out he has converted an entire army, which also won him Best Painted Army at Heat One of the Grand Tournament in 2005.
Here's a look at Jamie's Tomb Kings army and a close-up of some of the more interesting units:
Jamie's favourite Warhammer character is Nagash, and he has both a large Vampire Counts army, which includes the dreaded Necromancer, and a large Tomb Kings army. Inspired by the background of Nagash and the Undead, Jamie wanted to model an army that would reflect the force gathered by Alcadizzar the Conqueror to face Nagash on the Plain of Bones. Check out the story on page 11 of the Tomb Kings army book for more on Alcadizzar.
