Necron Warrior Assembly
The excellent multi-part plastic Necron Warriors are fairly straightforward to put together, once you know how.
Here Nick Bayton takes us through the basics. You'll notice that he doesn't completely assemble the Necron Warrior prior to painting. That's because you don't want to get paint or glue on the small see-through plastic rod that fits into the gun. Instead, that is left separate until the Necron Warrior is completely painted.
Unless specifically stated elsewhere, Nick used Plastic Glue to stick the Necron together. Before assembly he clipped the parts from the frames with a pair of Plastic Cutters and cleaned up the pieces with a Hobby Knife (when you're cutting off the gauss flayer muzzles, it makes life easier if you cut them away as a group of four - see stage 6). Remember to use Plastic Glue in a well-ventilated area and to always take care when working with your Hobby Knife.

1) The first stage is to fit the Necron's legs to the base provided - give them a while to set firmly (you can fill this time by gluing all the other legs to the bases and cleaning up other parts).
-

2) The Necron's torso comes in two parts, front and back. While the legs are setting into place, glue these together. When the legs are ready, attach these to the Necron's legs as shown here.
-

3) Glue the Necron's gun arm to the torso as shown. It helps the bond if you apply a little plastic glue to both the arm and the socket, since this will form a quicker bond. You'll want to hold the arm firmly in place for a moment to ensure that it retains the pose you're after.
-

4) Glue the other arm into place - the wrist fits into the back of the Necron's left hand.
-

5) Stick the head on.
-

6) Lastly, get your gauss flayer muzzles ready (we recommend keeping them on their frame like this, since it's easier to paint such tiny pieces in this way).
