Space Marine Drop Pod Stage-by-stage
-

Stage 11:
Now attach two more Drop Pod wings - don't add the remaining two yet though, there's something else we need to do first. -

Stage 12:
Now we need to assemble the turbo-fan assembly. This is done by fitting the turbo-fan to the two engine blocks and gluing them into place. With these complete you can push the pivot through the centre of the turbo-fan - the rounded end should protrude from the fan. Don't glue this into place. -

Stage 13:
Next we need to affix the gun control block to the gun pivot and glue them together. Once dried, fix these to the turbo-fan assembly - you do this by lining up the pivot and pushing it into the recess on the gun control block. When you are happy with the position, glue it into place. -
Stage 14:
You can now attach either a deathwind missile launcher or a storm bolter to the gun control block (click to see the deathwind missile launcher in place). This is done by fixing the gun block's x/y axis to the block first and then attaching the gun to this. What is important is that you don't actually glue the gun to the axis - by gluing the two sides of the weapon together and fitting it onto the axis, you'll enable the gun to tilt up and down. -
Stage 15:
With the turbo-fan and gun assembly built and glued together, fix it into place by attaching it to the Drop Pod wings. When you're happy with it's location, glue it into place.Click on the picture to see the turbo-fan and gun assembly in position. -

Stage 16:
Glue the remaining two wings into position, fixing them to the Drop Pod base and to the turbo-fan and gun assembly. -

Stage 17:
Fix the engine details to the top turbo-fan/gun assembly with Plastic Glue. -

Stage 18:
Fix the thrusters to the bottom of the Drop Pod. -

Stage 19:
Finally, attach any Chapter markings or Imperial eagle details that you want to the outside of the Drop Pod and you are done. Now you only need to paint it!
