Games Workshop welcomes young people into our Hobby Centres and to do this effectively, we strive to provide a fun and safe environment for all our customers. A crucial part of doing this involves us applying for 'Disclosure Information' from the Criminal Records Bureau for all staff that work with young people. This information relates to any convictions, spent or otherwise, cautions, reprimands, warnings or records detailing whether someone is considered unsuitable to work with young children. We deal with all Disclosure information in the strictest confidence and any records are kept in compliance with the Data Protection Act. We take this very seriously and it forms part of your condition of employment.
You'll need to be 18
For legal reasons Games Workshop only employees staff that are 18 years old and over. The two main reasons for this are:
- Working unsupervised with children
- Sales of restricted goods such as knives and solvents
