Warhammer Throne of Skulls 2009 Heat 1
The first heat of the Warhammer Throne of Skulls Grand Tournament got off to a roaring start with 148 players fighting it out to gain a coveted place in the Grand Final. With some stunning armies on show, players had a great time facing the tactical challenges that awaited them in the form of the scenarios and secret missions.
Congratulations to everyone who qualified and commiserations for those who didn't. It was a great weekend with a fantastic atmosphere made better by the level of fun and sportsmanship displayed by the players. There was ample opportunity to meet some great players, face armies you wouldn't normally encounter and socialise in the Warhammer World Gaming Arena or Bugmans Bar.
With the remaining heats a complete sell out, we unfortunately cannot accommodate any further players who may wish to attend. If this is an event you'd like to take part in, tickets for next year's heats will be going on sale on the 12th of July 2010.
