Introduction

In the tradition of the Games Day Mega Displays of yesteryear, the Design Studio decided that they wanted to bring something 'really cool' along to the UK Games Day this year. Determined to awe the masses with an innovative display, scenery gurus and model makers supreme Dave Andrews and Mark Jones rose to the fore, captaining an vision of Space Wolf madness that would stun and delight all who beheld it.

The result of their vision is the display that you see here, a full-blown battle to defend a heavily fortified Space Wolves fortress. Along with Dave and Mark, the entire Studio rallied to the cause with every member building Space Wolves, assembling Tyranid Gaunts or lending expertise in some other way. Special mention for heroics above and beyond the call of duty must also go to Aly Morrison, whose fantastic conversions and explosions feature heavily across the following pages, and Chris Peach whose super-human fortitude enabled him to paint the lion's share of all the models you can see here.
