Character Focus: Azhag the Slaughterer
One of the most successful Orc Warlords of recent history, Azhag the Slaughterer rose to prominence having discovered a curious crown in the ancient ruins of the city Todtheim. Although Azhag was already a robust and dangerous Orc, and leader of a sizable band of Big 'Uns, his newly acquired crown enhanced both his intellect and his ability to work evil by an order of magnitude.
The crown also imbued Azhag with the ability to work dark magics, and soon this already formidable Orc was conquering all in his path and building a Waaagh! that would bring the eastern provinces of the Empire to its knees.
Azhag's demise came at the end of a brutal three-year campaign that saw cities ravaged and the army of Valmir von Raukov destroyed beyond recovery. Azhag was finally overcome at the Battle of Osterwald, slain by the Grand Master of the Knights Panther, an act that finally ended his reign of terror and broke the back of his immense Orc and Goblin horde.
On the Tabletop
Azhag is the perfect compromise between overwhelming close combat prowess and the magical ability provided by other, less fighty, characters. Not only does he have the profile (and wargear) appropriate for an Orc Warlord, but he's a level 2 Wizard, who chooses his spells from the Lore of Death.
-

I'm the Boss!
Azhag has a way with the Boyz, or at least they're scared enough of him to put aside their petty bickering and fight when he's nearby. Any unit within 6" of Azhag can reroll a score of 1 when taking an Animosity test. -

The Crown of Sorcery
An ancient crown embued with a portion of the the magical wisdom and power of a long-dead Necromancer, the Crown of Sorcery is one of the main reasons behind Azhag's successes. The Crown of Sorcery makes Azhag a Level 2 Wizard that can chose his spells from the Lore of Death. It also make him suffer from Stupidity, however, as he listens intently to the voices in his head... -

Skullmuncha
Skullmuncha is a tough and gnarly Wyvern, replete with lavish detail. He is a Large Target, can fly, has Poisoned Attacks, causes Terror, has a 4+ Scaly Skin save and (perhaps most importantly of all) looks utterly brilliant. -

Slagga's Slashas
Azhag's no slouch in close combat either - He has +1 Attack, for a total of 5, thanks to Slagga's Slashas (his magic weapons) and a 5+ Ward save (courtesy of his armour).
