Introduction

The Island of Blood is a boxed game packed with Citadel miniatures, so it's only natural that you'll want to paint them up and get playing as soon as possible. In the Getting Started book accompanying the game we show you just how to do this and then enact the Battle for the Island of Blood using the miniatures in the box. But like the dreadful teases that we are the game is left on a cliffhanger. Who will win? Will it be Verminkin's fiendish Skaven or the High Elf protectors of the Phoenix Stone? If you've come online to find the answer then all will be revealed over the next few pages. And, for those that haven't yet read the Getting Started Book, fear not, for we present the battle here in full.
