Full Contents; Two Boxes
There are now less than 24 hours to go until you can advance order your copy of The Island of Blood. Having seen the boxed game I have decided to get together with Ed in the office and swap my Skaven for his High Elves. This got me thinking what our forces will look like when doubled up so I popped over to the Studio this morning and asked. In true Studio fashion they helped me out and, along with an image of the full contents of the box, you can see the armies below.
Here it is, the full contents of The Island of Blood. Over 70 finely detailed Citadel Miniatures, a 200-page full-colour Warhammer rulebook, a 32 page getting started booklet, dice, templates and two range rulers. Everything you need to start a new Warhammer army, add some amazing models to your existing army or start playing Warhammer for the first time.
If you are lucky enough to buy two sets or manage to swap with a friend then this is what your Skaven army will look like. There are 80 Clanrats, two Rat Ogre units (or one big unit), two Warpfire Throwers and two of the new Poisoned Wind Mortars and that doesn't include any of the character models.
Having an extra set of High Elves gives you another rank of Swordmasters and Sea Guard and we all know how important ranks are. You also get another unit of five Reavers to harass the enemy flanks. We haven't shown them here but you will of course have extra standards, musicians, champions and Mages that you can use in other units or convert to your hearts content.
