Modelling Sand

Many gamers base their models with the same colour as their gaming table. Modelling sand can used to make bases representing deserts. This looks very good for Khemri armies and those fighting on desert planets in Warhammer 40,000. Simply paint the base brown and when dry paint PVA glue over it and dip the top in some modelling sand.
